Charlotte Hailstone
Bridging the Gap
Charlotte Hailstone is an emerging Scottish Producer looking to make new connections with filmmakers. In 2018 she set up Hailstone Films to produce and collaborate on projects, and is currently developing a feature doc, and producing one of SDI’s Bridging the Gap films.
Through Hailstone Films, she was Line Producer of Victor Kossakovsky’s documentary feature Gunda, which premiered in competition at Berlin Film Festival 2020. Whilst working with Aconite Productions as Assistant Producer of Kossakovsky’s Aquarela, she undertook shoots in Greenland, an active disaster zone, the Venezuelan jungle, and across the Atlantic Ocean on a sailing boat. Aquarela premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2018 and was shortlisted for the 92nd Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature.
She has worked in production on BAFTA and RTS award winning documentary programmes, has extensive experience Production Managing commercials, and worked in the Producer’s office on Sony/Starz’s hit show Outlander.
