Sylph Productions
Sylph Productions was founded by Scotland based Producer Nadira Murray after graduating Media Business School in Spain in 2014.
The company has a commitment to producing fictional but socially relevant themes: developing original ideas and stories through cinematic experience to inspire audiences to engage in positive social change.
Despite being young, Sylph has already produced a number of films which traveled across the world and took part at OSCAR & BAFTA qualified film festivals winning numerous awards.
Short films are Locked In, about asylum seekers in immigration detention; and Stuk, a coming of age drama about anxiety in the gay community. Two feature films are in post production: The Checkpoint about adoption and social conditions in India, and Winners, a winsome comedy about the dreams inspired by film in struggling communities in Iran. Winners is produced in association with Screen Scotland.
Sylph's current development slate includes two feature films Waxing and Afghanistan [working title] and Hayat [working title] and a TV series based on the book Sikunder Burnes which has been optioned.
