Sheryl Crown is an experienced, award-winning, television drama and feature film content developer, script editor and producer, with a track record of collaboration with many new and established writers, directors and producers. She has a proven instinct for strong, human narratives across fiction and factual, combined with a forensic passion for script and story development.

With finely tuned skills for script development, story structure, and character conflicts, alongside extensive production industry experience and understanding, she supports the script development process though to production. Honest, constructive and rigorous in her approach, she cuts through hours of painful ‘development hell’ and ‘what ifs’ to make something good happen. She is committed to excellence, nurturing and supporting talent throughout a direct and fun collaborative creative process.

Sheryl’s track record includes Oscar and BAFTA nominations for Solomon and Gaenor, which she produced, and Oscar and BAFTA wins for Searching for Sugarman which she executive produced. Recently, Sheryl has been an executive producer on Brimstone; The Lovers and the Despot; Tale of Tales; Miss You Already; and The Green Prince, among others. She is currently also producing a Documentary Feature film – Neither Confirm nor Deny – set against the backdrop of Watergate.
