SELKIE PRODUCTIONS
Selkie Productions was set up in 2014 by Wendy Griffin to develop a slate of film and TV projects. Wendy has many years experience as a Line Producer of film and television, working on films such as Andrea Arnold's Red Road, Annie Griffin's Festival, David Mackenzie's You Instead, Paddy Considine's Journeyman and Iain Morris's The Festival.
She produced the low budget improvised feature film Wasted with Raindog and co-produced the indie rom-com Not Another Happy Ending with Synchronicity Films which closed Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2012. She also produced the music documentary Big Gold Dream (winner of the audience award at EIFF 2015) and the follow up Teenage Superstars. Both of these films are now being distributed in US by Tricoast and Teenage Superstars is about to be released in UK by Amber. Wendy also more recently coproduced Calibre, Matt Palmer's first feature with Wellington Films which will be released this year.
Selkie is currently developing projects with several directors and co-producers including Morag McKinnon and Sven Werner (winner of this year’s BAFTA Scotland short film award) and is keen to work with new and diverse talent.
