Sarah Townsend

Sarah is an accomplished senior marketing and communications professional with over 20 years experience in the feature film industry with the past 15 years in head of department roles.
She set up SFM Film in 2014, a consultancy offering marketing services to film production companies, international sales agents and distributors.
Prior to that held the post of Group Head of Marketing and Distribution at Independent Film Company for 8 years; responsible for the marketing and communications effort across all aspects of the business covering production, sales and distribution.
Sarah is responsible for strategy and management of all aspects of corporate marketing and comms, along with film specific campaigns and launches internationally.
