An independent producer with over 30 years industry experience, Rory most recently produced TV comedy Frank Of Ireland (Channel4/Amazon) starring Domhnall & Brian Gleeson for Sharon Horgan’s Merman Film & TV.

Prior to this, Rory was in-house producer at Element Pictures (The Favourite, Room) where producing credits include feature films Herself (directed by Phyllida Lloyd; Screen Ireland/BBC Films/BFI) which premiered at Sundance in 2020; Rosie (written by Roddy Doyle and directed by Paddy Breathnach; Screen Ireland/RTE); and Bafta-nominated Calm With Horses (co-produced with DMC Film; directed by Nick Rowland; Film4/Screen Ireland/Altitude) - both of which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Before joining Element, Rory spent four years as Project Manager at Screen Ireland (formerly the Irish Film Board) where he served as Executive Producer on a wide range of feature films and documentaries including The LobsterBrooklynVivaThe Young OffendersBlack 47Handsome Devil, I Am Not A Serial KillerMaudie, 66 Days and A Date For Mad Mary.

Prior to this, Rory was Head of Development and producer at Independent Talent’s production entity Brilliant Films, where he sourced and developed projects with Independent’s roster of directing talent including Jonathan Glazer, Duncan Jones, Rupert Wyatt, Neil LaBute, Martin Campbell, and Mike Newell. Before joining Brilliant, Rory was Head of Development at Impact Pictures where he worked closely with director Paul W S Anderson and producer Jeremy Bolt on the Resident Evil franchise of films, and served as co-producer on Summit/Constantin’s The Three Musketeers.
