Nicole has been working in the screen sector for over ten years, specialising in television drama and working on over 130 hours of broadcast television.  Her credits include Script Executive on the Sky/HBO series Strike Back, Script Producer on the BBC continuing drama EastEnders (winning the 2016 BAFTA and NTA for Continuing Drama), and Script Editor on BBC1’s Father Brown (winning the 2014 Best Drama Episode at NTS Midland Awards).  Nicole has experience working in Radio Drama and most recently freelances as a Development Executive across the industry.

Nicole has extensive experience on script development – ranging from the start of the development process (matching the right writer to a project, developing story pitches, running story conferences) through production (script development, working to production schedules, on-set experience), and taking a show through to post-production.  She manages and advises on production slates, has a working knowledge of the current television industry and broadcasters, and experience writing and pitching to Commissioners.  Her development experience is across continuing drama, crime, genre, period, and high-end dramas.

Nicole has gained many contacts across the production spectrum and can advise on suitable crewing.  She has run workshops and trainee schemes with the BBC Writer’s Room, trained editorial staff, and has experience managing budgets and running a script department.
