Director of US Development at Pulse Films

Louis Mole attended the New York Film Academy’s renowned documentary filmmaking program. Upon graduating in 2012, he was appointed as an outreach producer on the critically acclaimed, Oscar shortlisted documentary The House I Live In.

The film was directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Eugene Jarecki and executive produced by Brad Pitt and John Legend. In 2014, Louis joined the UK/US indie October Films. Louis rose from an assistant producer to Head of Development after securing several high-profile series commissions including National Geographic’s Mygrations and Discovery Channel’s Trailblazers.

During his time as Head of Development, October won several notable commissions including First Ladies for CNN, This Is Football for Amazon Originals, and Compton Dreams for Snapchat Originals. Louis significantly increased the breadth and scale of programming that October produce through his ability to create original ideas with broad appeal.

Most recently, Louis joined studio Pulse Films as Director of Development in the non-fiction division. In this role, Louis is responsible for creating, developing and delivering exciting new formats and documentaries for networks and SVOD’s.
