Former MD of the Tinopolis Group’s Pioneer Production, a leader in Specialist Factual Content, Kirstie introduced innovative new formats including Fast-Turn Around docs, Live Specials, and Returnable UGC series as well as establishing a joint venture in Asia.
As MD of Pioneer 2012-16 Kirstie drove forward creative and commercial progress. Building on an established factual base she introduced innovations from fast turnround docs to Live Specials and Returnable UGC Series. She holds excellent relationships with commissioners, producers and creative talent across the globe and run highly effective teams who deliver outstanding, cost effective quality content across a variety of platforms.
Kirstie is a keen observer of audience and market trends and energetically secures new opportunities they present through innovative partnerships, commercial creativity and technology.
Over the last 2 years she steered Pioneer's output in line with the rapidly changing market spearheading a move into 4K, SVOD production and wildlife and established a lucrative YouTube channel.
Prior to becoming MD she played an integral role in transforming the company into the diverse innovative company it is today working worked in various capacities from Director, to Head of Production, Series Producer and Executive Producer.
She’s also a massive proponent of new technology, in production and distribution.
