Interference Pattern
Interference Pattern is a creative animation studio in Edinburgh, founded in 2008 to work on the Oscar-winning animated short film, THE LOST THING. Initially a 3D animation studio, focussing on short-form content, Interference Pattern has grown into a flourishing 2D / 3D studio. Their work now encompasses TV, film, games trailers and commercials as well as a slate of original IP for children’s TV.
Interference Pattern are also founders and organisers of the MOVE Summit, Scotland’s key animation and visual effects industry event. The company’s ambitions are to co-produce animated series as a co-production partner, produce fully animated 3D series as a service studio, produce animated series from their own development slate, expand their international client base (e.g. USA) and gain additional clients in the games sector by creating game marketing trailer content.
As an established company that has grown organically, Interference Pattern is ready to develop their business strategy to manage more rapid growth and learn more about the TV landscape/pitching techniques as well as get support regarding e.g. tax credits, funding and rights packages, and managing their own IP.
