Helen has held a wide range of senior roles both as a programme maker and as a broadcaster. As Director of Programmes at Betty she was responsible for all shows in production, overseeing the executive producers and working closely with the development team. Programmes included: The Undateables, Tricks of the Restaurant Trade, and How to Get Fit Fast for C4; and Gone to Pot, My 10k Holiday Home and Bear’s Mission with… for ITV.  

As a Commissioning Editor at Discovery for five years she worked with over 50 indies and was responsible for some of the most successful international programmes across Discovery’s portfolio of channels from multi-award winning documentaries like Rise of the Warrior Apes; survival, adventure and talent led shows with Ed Stafford, Robson Green and Bear Grylls; popular science series like Outrageous Acts of Science to blue chip natural history series including Dogs: The Untold Story. Prior to this Helen developed and executive produced hundreds of hours of content across all non scripted genres including House of Tiny Tearaways and Young, Dumb and Living off Mum for BBC Three, history series for BBC Two, PBS and Channel 4, cookery programmes for the BBC and Good Food, and series edited Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother for Channel 4.  She also has an MA in Executive Coaching and Mentoring.
