Cro and Kow
Cro & Kow is a partnership founded by Sylwia Kowalczyk and Simon Crofts that originally grew out of their combined photography practice working for magazines, art projects shown in galleries internationally, and commercial clients.
Since the pandemic, they have expanded into film production, using a similar approach of personal projects combined with commercial work. Increasingly, film/TV work is expanding and overtaking their photography workload and the aim is to pursue this further. For documentary projects in development, they have close ties with and an interest in Eastern Europe, in particular Ukraine (as well as Russia / Poland).
Their ambitions are to move into TV/broadcast projects, expand their team and develop and produce personal projects. They are looking for support to understand the film and TV industry, developing work with audiences/commissioners in mind, compliance, and developing income streams as well as networking and collaborations/co-productions.
