Angus has been making documentaries for over thirty years, working in a vast range of subjects and styles, including The Death of Yugoslavia, Gulag, Dancing of Dollars, The Last Peasants, Cocaine and more recently The Legend of Shorty and Lost Tribe.
He was Head of Documentaries at Channel 4 and set up Ronachan Films to help foster documentary filmmaking of passion and commitment. He has worked as Executive Producer on many films and series, most recently the award winning Leonora Carrington:the Lost Surrealist and Il Testigo.
He has developed a unique network of relationships around the world with whom he develops projects and raises the money, from Peru and Colombia, to China and Australia. His work has been broadcast and shown in Festivals across the world, earning two Retrospectives and winning BAFTA, Emmy, RTS, IDA, Peadbody, Colombia Journalism and Prix Europa among many other awards.
